New design in all shops this week. I had the idea to do this years ago but kept putting it off. This week, I decided to go for it.
This amazing Lost Boys Tee is available for both men and women.
I’ve been wanting to make this shirt for a long time. I am a huge fan of martial art films, “Enter the Dragon” being one of the best of all time. Han’s Tournament is stuff of legend. This shirt pays the ultimate tribute to this extraordinary event.
This shirt came out awesome and would be a great gift for any fan of Bruce Lee or the martial arts in general. This is now available in our Etsy Shop, eBay Store, and at supersweetshirts.com. All of our shirts are screenprinted and 100% guaranteed on American Apparel shirts. 100% American made!
Let’s talk about how awesome this is. Of course my primary reason for blogging is to occasionally mention the awesome products at supersweetshirts.com and also at our etsy store , but occasionally a product comes around that is well deserved of a third party plug. “TapIt Cap” is worthy of this. Its like a mini draft system for your home. I love growlers, but a big reason as to why I don’t get them more often, is because I can’t finish it up fast enough to maintain the freshness. Let me modify that statement, I CAN finish a growler without a problem, but maybe I just want a pint or two? Maybe every time I open a growler, I don’t want to get bombed. This device will keep your growler fresh and let you drink at your own leisure! Genius! The best part? Its not even that expensive retailing at 45.00 at Tapitcap.com . This is a great gift for any beer lover! On a side note, the perfect gift to go along with this would be:
Available in our etsy store!
I had been working some Brando art for the past 3 days trying to get an idea as to how I wanted the shirt to look. If you have seen “Apocalypse Now”, you are well aware of the many things that Marlon Brando’s character says. His lines were amazing and they were delivered incredibly. It’s a true classic. I wanted to pay tribute to Brando with this shirt and decided that I was going to use a similar design that I had once used years ago with a Jack Kerouac shirt I had done.

This week we released two new shirts. The first shirt is our tribute to Al Pacino from the movie “Serpico”. This shirt has been added to our ebay and etsy shops and will be available on our main website in a few days. We have also made it available here in case you just need to have it now!

I had been waiting for a while to release this one. I had actually started making the screen for it last week but learned that I shouldn’t make them a few beers deep. I had messed up the screen and of course had no more supplies in stock for a new one so an order had to be placed. Well this week I was able to have it finished! I give you the “Commodore” shirt.

A couple new items this week hit our shops and will soon be up on the website. The first is the new Thelonious Monk T-shirt. This shirt pays tribute to one of the greatest jazz artists ever and we decided to make it a onesie and a T-shirt. I love jazz so I wanted to do something for other jazz lovers out there.
Just a little reminder (cheap plug), St. Patrick’s day is quickly approaching! I’m far from Irish but recognize that the day is filled with people who are, and they are all drinking like there is no tomorrow, and wearing wacky clothing. This year we have given them an option! Super Sweet Shirts presents the “St. Patrick’s Day Madlib shirt”.
This is available in men’s and women’s sizes, both currently up in our Etsy store. These are not up on our main website because I am currently in the processes of remodeling the sight, so new items have only been listed on Etsy and our eBay store.
Last night I had a vision. Anyone who knows action films will know who this man is. When the idea came to me I rushed online to see if it had been done before. I could not find a single shirt. Nobody had paid tribute to one of the greatest martial arts villains of all time, Bolo Yeung.
I rushed to my computer when I got home and started to design the shirt I wanted. This wasn’t going to be something I was going to draw free hand, I basically took a closeup of his face and pulled out the color. I placed the symbol for warrior up in the corner and then simply placed Bolo at the bottom. I wanted to keep it simple. I smoothed out the picture by hand with some black ink, scanned it and then prepared it for my transparency. I can’t wait to print this shirt, I love the design.
